Quick Note: Foreshadowing 2015 SCOTUS Stats

Law, Justice, Court, Judge, Legal, Lawyer, Crime

In a more detailed upcoming post I will take a look at many of the significant statistics from this term at the Supreme Court; especially those to do with the actors involved in the cases.  To provide some early results, in this post I have the non-governmental attorney and firm that were involved in the most cases on the merits (as either a party or amicus representative) as well as the attorney and firm with the most wins this Term.

The most active attorney (not many SCOTUS watchers will be surprised with this) was Paul Clement who was involved in eight cases. The most active firms were Jones Day, Jenner & Block, and Gibson Dunn which were each involved in 13 cases on the merits.

The attorney associated with wins in the most cases this year was Elizabeth Wydra who was involved in six victories.  The firm associated with the most wins was Jones Day which was involved in 11 winning cases.

More to come.
